She then explains An Industry.

An Industry is a building where manufacturing of a type of material for trade is produced. An Industry could also be defined as a work place where processes involved in collecting raw materials and making them into new products are carried out.

She Explain the Large Scale Industry.

These are businesses which require large capital and huge infrastructure as well as a lot of manpower.

Large scale industries refer to factories that combine at least three characteristics which are, use of machinery and employs wage labour of more than 1500. Examples are Ama Breweries at 9 mile Ngwo, 7Up bottling company also at Ngwo, Aqua Rapha industry, etc.

Importance Of Large Scale Industries.

1. They provide opportunity for the industrialization of the country

2. Large scale business provide capital and basic goods

3. They generate funds for the research and development of new technologies.

4. Large scale production reduces cost of production

5. It provides more goods

6. Large scale production encourages division of Labour.
