SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to

  1. List ways in which of changing a bad person to a good person

Instructional Techniques: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration, story-telling

Instructional Materials: : toys, picture book showing bad and good people and their activities

INTRODUCTION

The Teacher revises the Previous Topic.

Pupils pay attention

EXPLANATION

She Explains that a bad person is someone who do not obey the Law of God. They are people who lack the fruit of the Spirit

Pupils pay attention and anticipate

STEP 3

Demonstration

She uses the Bible book story to show the pupils how Jesus called Matthew the Tax collector to follow him.

-How Jesus met Matthew as he was passing along the street

-He Jesus commanded he should follow him. (IMatt9:9-13, Mark 2:13-17)

Pupils pay attention and participate

Note taking

The teacher writes a short note on the board

The pupils copy the note

 

NOTE

WAYS OF CHANGING A BAD PERSON TO A  GOOD PERSON

  1. By Flogging/ beating- usually done for children
  2. By Advising
  3. By carrying them to Correctional Facilities

All these things must be accompanied by prayers because it is only God that can give a total change to a person for example Saul to Paul, Abram to Abraham, Jacob to Israel

Evaluation:          1. Explain who a Bad person is

  1. Mention ways in which a bad person can be changed to a good person

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation.

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively
