SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to;

  1. Recognize and spell sets of words with ‘or’ and ‘ow’

ENTRY BEHAVIOR : Pupils can identify that all the vowels have both short and long sounds

SET INDUCTION : The teachers uses the ‘The bossy R’ song to arouse the pupils

- Makes a list of words containing ‘or’ sound pattern and ask the pupils to pronounce them aloud repeatedly

- Shows the children several images of words containing the grapheme ‘ow’ and asks them to pronounce it aloud
