STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The Teacher Revises the previous Topic On Peace Education.

He Define Drug as any substance that can change the activities of the body. Some of these substances can make us awake, sleepy, and excited and take away pains. E.g of common drugs include: Aspirin, Paracetamol, and Chloroquine.

EXPLANATION

She Define Drug Abuse as the wrong use of drugs to get self drive.

Drugs used this way are not prescribed by the doctors, nurses or pharmacists. The best way to use drug is according to the doctor’s prescription, For examples

-      1-1-1 means once in the morning, once in the afternoon and once in the night.

Examples of Drugs commonly Abuse

This include tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, cough syrup, India hemp, morphine, heroine, codeine etc.

1. It gives pleasurable feelings or desires that encourage the tendency to use again and again.

2. It leads to development of tolerance to drugs
