EXPLANATION

She explains that one ought to support others at the time  of their need. We can share gifts with people, and help our friends that are in need.

Demonstration

The Teacher uses a Bible story book to tell the pupil of the love between Jonathan and David. (1 Sam18:1-19)

-David was the son of Jesse who fought goliath and killed him with a stone,

-He was asked to live in Saul’s house so that he would play the harp for him  because an evil spirit took control of Saul

-One day Saul wanted to kill David with a spear but God saved David.

-Jonathan was the son of Saul. He liked David and became his best friend.

-Saul told Jonathan and his officers to kill David, but Jonathan pleaded on behalf of David that there was no reason to kill him

- Jonathan and David devise a means of communication to prevent David from being killed.

MORAL LESSON

  1. God wants us to love one another
  2. God wants us to tell the truth always
  3. When we do not show love to others, We cause much pain to ourselves and to others
  4. Jonathan gave David his clothes, sword, bow and arrow and his belt. God wants us to share things with one another.

Evaluation:          1. Mention the kind of Love which Jonathan had for David

  1. Narrate the story of Jonathan and David
