SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to

  1. Explain the meaning of Moderation
  2. Explain why we should exercise moderation in all we do
  3. Describe ways Christians should exercise moderation

Instructional Techniques: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration, story-telling

Instructional Materials: The Teacher with the aid of pictures depicts indecent dressing, smokers, drunks etc.

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The Teacher Introduces a Christian life as a life of repentance, faith, and good works lived through the power of the spirit of God.

She defines Moderation as the ways of doing something within reasonable limits.

EXPLANATION

She explains that a Christian need to learn self-control in their daily activities. This ranges from  the way one talk, eat, dress and drink.

She uses textbooks, Bible story book to show the pupils how Christians ought to control themselves in situations like Eating, talking, dressing and so on.
