  2. Discuss the methods of preserving oil crops
  3. Mention the general uses of stitches

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: needles, pins, thread, measuring thread, tracing wheel, scissors etc, Chart showing different types of stitches, fruits, charts, video clips

2. It can be used as a decorative element

3. Stitches are useful when you need to make a ruched, ruffled and gathered detail

4. It is used to join two or more fabric pieces together

5. It can be used for finishing the raw edges

6. It helps you to keep the seams and hems from ripping and fraying

7. It can be used to make buttonholes for buttons
