She Define Labour as the force employed to get things done in the society. People have different abilities and talents. Some are doctors, teachers and engineers, among others. Working people make up the labour force of the country in which they live.

The Labour Force In The School

1. Teachers

5. The bosses

Trade Union is an association of workers protecting their interest in an organization. In Nigeria, the largest trade union is called the Nigerian Labour Congress(NLC)

Workers Interests or concerns include things like

1. Fair play

2. Safe working conditions

3. Protection against unfair dismissal

4. Leave

When Union feel that workers’ demands are not being met or that they are being treated unfairly, they may go on strike. A Strike is when workers refuse to go to work.

Trade Union Nigeria

1. Nigerian Labour Congress(NLC)- It consists of all other trade unions.

2. Nigerian Union Of Teachers(NUT)- It protects the interest of teachers

3. Nigerian Bar Association(NBA)- It protects the lawyers in the country.

4. Nigerian Union of Journalist(NUJ)- It protects and promotes the interest of journalists in the country

5. Nigerian Medical Association(NMA)- IT Promotes the interest of doctors in Nigeria.

2. To call their employers to order whenever there is need for it.

3. To ensure its members enjoy better wages and benefits in the place of work.

5. To speak as one voice on behalf of their members.

6. To prevent violation and protect the rights of employee from their employers.
