She then explains that Gen. Muritala Mohammed was born in Kano on Nov 1938. He was an army General and the 4th head of state in Nigeria. He came to power after overthrowing the government of Gen. Yakubu Gowon in 1975. He was ambushed by a group of soldiers led by lieutenant Colonel Buka Suka Musa Dimka and assassinated.
