STEP 1

INTRODUCTION OF THE TOPIC

The teacher introduces Choir as a group of people who sing together, especially one that takes part in church services or performs in public.

She explain that when groups of people come together to sing in different parts, it is known as choir.

She uses a tape recorder or television to show the pupils different types and part of choir and assist the student to sing solo and duet

TYPES OF SINGNING

  1. Solo-This is a musical performance by a single perform or instrument
  2. Duet- This is a musical performance by two persons or instrument
  3. Trio- This is a musical performance by three persons or instrument
  4. Quartet- is a musical performance by four persons or instrument
  5. Unison- This is a musical performance by five person or instrument
  6. Harmony- is a musical performance by two or more persons or instruments simultaneously
