Drug is any substance (other than food) that is used to prevent, diagnose, treat, or relieve symptoms of a disease or abnormal condition.

Types of drugs

1. Naturally occurring drugs- These are drugs obtained from nature. E.g. vegetable, kolanut, coffee.

2. Synthetic drugs: these are chemical substance produced by human being to prevent or cure diseases. E.g. aspirin, chloroquine, paracetamol.

1. Hygiene is important to keep a happy and healthy frame of mind

2. It is one of the best ways to protect yourself from getting gastro or infectious diseases such as COVID-19, colds and flu.

3. It improves quality of life

Cavities, also called tooth decay or caries, are caused by a combination of factors, including

1. bacteria in your mouth

2. frequent snacking

3. sipping sugary drinks

4.  not cleaning your teeth well

1.   brush your teeth with fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day.

2.   floss at least once a day (one of the most beneficial things you can do to prevent disease in your oral cavity)
