SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to

  2. List the agents and tools for cleaning the home and surroundings
  3. State the guidelines for cleaning the home and surroundings

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: brooms, water, buckets, detergents, towels, waste bins, mopping pail, mop stick, scrubbing brush, hoover toilet brush

3. dust the furniture and shelves

4. sweep the floor

5.Scrub/mop the floor

6. scrub the toilets using toilet cleaners

7. Cut down all grasses and rake them

8. trim flowers and trees

9. scrub and disinfect gutters and open drainages

10. Rearrange the furniture

11. Use air fresheners for homes and classrooms

12. Use disinfectants for toilet floors and bowls

13. dispose all the refuse properly, bagging them if necessary.
