Instructional Materials: : toys, picture book showing  Paul persecuting the Christians of the church

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

 The Teacher introduces the topic by explaining the Paul place of birth.

She explain that Paul is a Jew born in Tarsus of Cilicia and trained in the law of the ancestors. Acts 22:3

EXPLANATION

She explains that Paul was formerly called Saul and he was a Hebrew, Roman and a Greek. Also he was originally a judaiser but later converted to a Christian

The Teacher uses a Bible story book , Bible to teach the pupils about the early life of Paul.

NOTE

PAUL’S EARLY LIFE

 Paul original name is Saul. Paul father was a roman citizen and was a tent maker . This made Paul a roman citizen as well as a Jew. Paul became a Lawyer and won the titled- Son of Law

PAUL’S PERSECUTION OF THE CHURCH

All believers except the apostles were scattered throughout the provinces of Judea and Samaria. Saul tried to destroy the church, going from one house to house, dragging believers both men and women and throwing them into jail. Acts 8:1-3
