She then explains that Traditional Occupation means an occupation followed in the family, tribe or community in which it was handed down by the ancestors to his children. In this occupation, special skills are imparted. Traditional occupation helps one to seek for employment or engage in trade and business instead of looking for government employment.

1. Food Production: The earliest occupation of man is Agriculture. Farmers produce food not only for their family use but for sales to feed others and make money for other use. One can choose career in agriculture to go into:

- Fish Production

- Poultry

- Cash Crop Production

- Animal Rearing.

2. Shelter: Traditional occupation answers this need by making available material like Timber, bamboo, grasses and other house making materials.

3. Clothing: Traditional occupation answers this need by making available material like Cotton, hides and skin. They are used as bag, shoes and belt.

4. Wealth Creation
