INTRODUCTION

The Teacher revises the previous topic on Population and housing

She Defines Personal Hygiene as keeping our body and clothes clean. It involves having our bath regularly, cleaning our teeth after each meal, washing and ironing our clothes, etc.

 

Physical Development deals with the growth of a child.

She gives the Characteristics Of Physical Development of Children At Pre-Adolescent stage.

1. Girls initially grow taller than boys

2. They grow hair under the armpits and private parts.

3. Changes in the voice of boys

4. The breast of girls begin to develop and grow bigger

She Defines Cultism as a secret society which is not open to everybody. Cultism is the act of belonging to a secret cult in an educational institution. Members of secret cult have a particular spiritual beliefs usually regarded by others as misguided.

 

Causes Of Cultism

1. Improper Child Upbringing

2. Peer Group Influence

3. Revenge/Avenging of crime committed

4. Social Identity i.e Popular in campus

5. A Carefree lifestyle

 

Consequences/Effects Of Cultism

1. Threat to peace and Security in campuses

2. They make those who work diligently not to reap the result of their work

3. Cultist causes death and cause unhappiness to the families affected by their activities

4. They give bad names to institutions and the society at large

5. Many cultist risk health problems because of harmful drugs they take.
