Saving is one way of preserving resources

 

She Explains that Saving is the process of keeping money and other valuable items for future and safety purposes.

Money can be saved in banks, as pension account, an investment fund or cash, etc.

 

Types Of Savings/Resources Preservation

1. Piggy bank

3. Cooperatives

4. Pensions

5. Treasury bills

6. Investment funds

7. Buying properties like land and houses.

8. Thrift and credit society

9. Insurance Companies.

She Explains that a bank is a place where money is saved. Money saved in the bank generates interest.

 

People can borrow money from the bank for business, financing a project, etc.

1. Valuable assets like Diamond, gold jewelry, etc.

She Explains that there are Three arms of Government that enable the Government to govern the public affairs effectively.

 

Arms Of Government

1. Legislature- A Legislature is the type of governance with the authority to make laws for a political or organization entity such as a country or city E.g Senators, House of representatives

 

2. Executive- is the type of governance with the authority to implement laws by the legislature. E.g House of Assembly, Councilors

 

3. Judiciary- is the governance with

the authority to interpret laws made

by the Legislature and implemented

by the Executive. E,g The supreme

court, and other federal court.

She Explains that Parents play a role in the personal security of a child by promoting and supporting the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development of a child from infancy to adulthood.

 

Roles Of Parents On a Child’s Personal Security

3. They listen to the complain of their children

4. They encourage their children more and criticize them less

5. They monitor their children change in attitudes.

6. They teach their children societal and moral values
