SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to

  1. Define weeds
  2. Identify common weeds on the farm
  3. Explain the meaning of family values
  4. Give examples of family values
  5. Compare and contrast the stages of family

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration.

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: flash cards on the core of family values, family pictures, sample of weeds and charts on weeds

Weed is a plant that is not valued where it is growing and is usually of vigorous growth

7. Giant star grass

8. pig weed

Family values are the moral and ethical principles traditionally upheld and passed on within a family

1. Self-compassion. Self-compassion means you should be kind to yourself first.

3. Responsibility.

4. Honesty.  

5. Integrity.  

6. Implementing and respecting boundaries.

7. Family time.  

8. Perseverance.

9. Commitment. Commitment is the implicit promise that the family is a team.

10. Respect. Respect is the personal care and regard family members display toward one another.  

11. Appreciation.

12 Conflict resolution.

2. Coupling or marriage.

3. Parenting: babies through adolescents.

4. Launching adult children.

5.  Retirement or senior years
