INTRODUCTION OF TOPIC

The teacher revises the previous Examination Question

EXPLANATION

She then explains the meaning of Nationalism as the feeling of love one has and shows towards one’s country, such love comes with pride and faith in that country. A Nationalist is someone who shows the feeling of love of her country.

Pupils pay attention and participate

She describes that Nationalism and Patriotism are two words which are used in place of each other.

Patriotism means love for one’s country and willingness to defend it. Nationalism is the extreme type of love which cannot be compromised and total commitment to ones country                       

Qualities Of A Nationalist

1. Strong feeling of love for his country

2. A Nationalist thinks of what to give to the nation to improve such nation and not what the nation will give to him.

3. A Nationalist is a freedom fighter and a defender of the people’s culture.
