The teacher revises the previous Topic On British Rule In Nigeria

EXPLANATION

She then explains that the Royal Niger Company (RNC) was formerly called National Africa Company(NAC)  established by the British order in council in 1886.

She describes the Responsibilities Of The Royal Niger Company

1. To Abolish slave trade in the Nation

2. It was use as a security purpose to fight the  threat against the Germans and French in their quest to acquire land.

3. To bridge the gap between the Biafrans and the Benin coast line.

The British discovered that the RNC has gotten powerful because they controlled a protectorate and has become monopolistic i.e. it no longer answered to the British hence the British DE chattered and revoked it in 1889.
