SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to

  1. Explain that God always supplies our needs
  2. Mention the ways God provides for our needs
  3. List things God provides for us

Instructional Techniques: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration, story-telling

Instructional Materials: Bible, pictures of the Israelites picking manna and quail in the wilderness

The teacher revisits the previous lesson on God saves us from danger

Pupils pay attention

EXPLANATION

The teacher explains that God always supplies our needs.

Those who put their trust in God will never be put to shame. He is the one who rewards those who diligently seek Him

Pupils pay attention and anticipate

STEP 3

Demonstration

The teacher mentions the ways God provides for our needs

1. God answers our prayers

2. God provides for hidden things that we do not ask for or know we need e.g rain, sun, etc

3. God provides us with material things

4. God equips us spiritually

5. God provides us with His constant love and care

6. He sends his angels

7. He uses nature and animals

8. He sends human helpers

9. He sends it directly from heaven

The teacher further list the things God provides for us  

1. shelter

2. clothes

3. food

4. rain

5. good health

6. helpers

7. money

8. Good jobs etc
