The teacher revises the previous On British rule in Nigeria.

She Explains that due to the abolition of slave trade explorers from various European countries sailed to Africa to Explore the land for their country benefit.

NOTE

After the 1st Expedition was over, many Explorers came to Africa to Explore the Lands some include:

1823- Hugh Clapperton explored Kano and Hausa Territory

1930- Clapperton’s servant, Richard Landers, explores the lower regions of the Niger

1841-4 ships leave for Nigeria to make treaties with the Local kings.
