The teacher revisits the previous lesson on Family.

She Introduces Culture as a people’s way of life.

Unity refers to oneness while Diversity refers to differences. She therefore explains unity in Diversity refers to oneness in spite of differences

Ways Of Promoting Unity In Cultural Diversity In Our Community.

1. Eating foods from other people’s culture

2. Wearing dresses from other cultures.

3. Making friends with mates who are not from our ethnic group.

4. Learning to speak Languages of other ethnic groups.

She Explains that Custom is a commonly accepted manner of behaving or doing something in a particular society, place or time.

Tradition is the transmission of customs or beliefs from one generation to another

Tradition is the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation
