NOTE
Nigeria with over 150 million population and more than 370 ethnic groups has three major ethnic groups: Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo. There are several other ethnic groups numbering more than one million members which include
THE URHOBO PEOPLE
They are located in Delta state. Their origin can be traced to the Benin kingdom. Urhobo was a prince and son of Oba Eweka who left Benin city after duly taking the blessings of his father with a large number of subjects in 1370 to found his own kingdom.
Their economic activities include agricultural subsistence farming, few commercial businesses, fishing and education centres.
