SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to

  1. Identify and describe the use of carrying tools
  2. Explain the meaning of snacks and fruit drinks
  3. Mention some common snacks in their locality
  4. State the differences between snacks and main meals
  5. Prepare simple snacks and fruit drinks

Snack is a light meal eaten between regular meals

Fruit drinks are nonalcoholic beverages that are obtained by subjecting different types of fruit to certain processes

6. pizza

7. sausage roll

8. biscuits

The major difference between snacks and main meals

Meals contain a source of protein, vegetable, carbohydrates and fats. Snacks are anything that does not constitute this full combination

 

Snacks are light food taken in between meal while main meals are the major meal taken three times a day that contain a balanced diet
