SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to;
ENTRY BEHAVIOR: Pupils can identify and recite all the letters of the alphabets and the vowels
SET INDUCTION: The teachers uses the ‘I pricked my thumb with a needle’ song to arouse the pupils

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Objects with the ‘ou’ and ‘ur’ grapheme, chart showing objects with the ‘ou’ and ‘ur’ grapheme sound, white board, dry erase marker, clue cards
