INTRODUCTION

The Teacher uses the ‘pray every day’ song to introduce the topic.

She explains that prayer means talking with God

EXPLANATION

She explains that there are different forms of prayer-

    1.Verbalizing

    2. Mediation

    3. Groaning

     4. Adoration

Pupils pay attention and participate

DEMONSTRATION

Using the Bible story books and the pictures therein she tells the story of the Destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah

            -How God wanted to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah .

             -How Abraham interceded for the country so that God would not destroy the country. Gen 18: 20-33

The teacher writes a short note on the board

NOTE

Verbalization is a form of prayer in which you express your word by speaking especially out loud.

Mediation is a form of prayer where you pray(intercede) for someone else problem.

Adoration is when you tell God how great, mighty and awesome He is

Groaning is usually when you have no words or expression to tell God yet you have huge burdens you release to Him with loud groans.

Evaluation:          1. Examples of forms of prayers are  (Verbalizing, Kneeing,  Mediation)
