A state government is much bigger than the local government and the affairs of many local governments is under the state government. State government is headed by a governor and assisted by a commissioner, special advisers etc.

Concept of state government
State government is a body of people who controls public affairs of a nation at the state level. A state government is much bigger than the local government and the affairs of many local governments is under the state government. State government is headed by a governor and assisted by a commissioner, special advisers etc.
