  2. Discover who controls the public affair of the state and what the motto of your state is
  3. Locate the importance of a state government
  4. Explain the characteristics of national values
  5. Describe the effects of crimes on the society and individual.
  6. Cite some criminal behavior in the neighbourhood

Introduction

The teacher revises the previous topic on the problem and solution of local government.

She introduces state government as another level of government that is more closer to the people than the federal government

Explanation

She explains that the state government is a body of people who controls public affairs of a nation at the state level. A state government is much bigger  than the local government and the affairs of many local governments is under the state government. State government is headed by a governor and assisted by a commissioner, special advisers etc.

2. Provision of security.

1. It reduces safety

2. It disrupt social order

3. It creates chaos and confusion

4. It hinders progress and unity in the society
