  3. Explain the different between various types of government
  4. Analyze some of the similarities between various types of government
  5. Write the consequences of failure to report suspicious movement
  6. Mention the right person to report

Instructional materials: chart showing materials and place to worship, picture chart showing various type of government in Nigeria,  chart showing fire outbreak and robbery attack.

And introduces religion as  a strong belief in a supernatural power or powers that control human destiny.

Types of religion in Nigeria
1. Christianity- materials used include holy bible, candles, olive oil, beads and musical instruments. Christians worship in the church

  1. Islam- materials used include the Quran, bead. They worship in the mosque and they pray 5 times daily
  2. African traditional religion-materials use objects as their god, these objects varies from different tribes or villages and they are called different names. Some Yoruba call their gods the god of thunder(Sango). Some Igbos call their god amadioha, chukwu. Hausa call their god Allah. Some of the object they worship include iron, wood, tree etc. Traditional worshippers worship in the shrine.

Similarities in the types of religion

  1. They teach us to belief in one god
  2. They teach us not to do evil
  3. They teach us to love other people as we love ourselves
  4. To fear and respect god
  5. To tolerate one another

 

Differences in the types of religion

  1. They have different name of god
  2. They dress differently
  3. They have different places of worship
  4. They have different belief l like Christian worship god through Jesus Christ, Muslim worship god through Mohammed, traditional worshippers worship god through their ancestors and spirit

Constitutional government is a government that is ruled by the rules of laws.
