  • Explain the elements of drama

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: The Teacher will teach the lesson with the aid of Video/audio recorded drama.

INTRODUCTION OF THE TOPIC

The teacher defines Element of drama as things that make up the features of drama.

  2. Language- It is the choice of word used to express an idea in a play
  3. Characterisation- It is the character perform or display in a play

Actors/Actress- They are males and females that act play

  Stage- It is a platform above the ground where play is acted

  Audience- They are those watching the play in the theatre

     Others include- sounds, lighting etc
