1. Thermometer for measuring air and sea surface temperature.

2.  Barometer for measuring atmospheric pressure.

3.  Hygrometer for measuring humidity.

4.  Anemometer for measuring wind speed.

5.  Rain gauge for measuring liquid precipitation over a set period of time.

6.  Wind sock for measuring general wind speed and wind direction

7.  Wind vane, also called a weather vane or a weathercock: it shows which way the wind is blowing.
