INTRODUCTION

The Teacher revisits the previous lesson on the right attitude when God speaks to us

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

She explains how we are children of God

We become children of God when we confess our sins and accept Jesus as our Lord and personal saviour. God loves and cares for us as His children and we enjoy benefits only His children can enjoy such as provisions, shelter, protection and guidance

Pupils pay attention and anticipate

Demonstration

She further explains what it means to be in Christ

1. it means we have accepted the sacrifice of Christ as a payment for our sins

2. we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and saviour

3. We can enter the holy presence of God without any guilt

4. We can have God’s precious gift-The Holy Spirit who teaches and guides us into all truth

5. God no longer sees our imperfections rather we are been made His righteousness in Christ Jesus

 

She describes a model family

1. The children obey their parents and go on errands for them

2. The wife submits to her husband

3. The husband loves his wife unconditionally even to the point of laying down his life for her just as Christ did for the church
