The teacher revises the previous lesson on the death and resurrection of Christ

EXPLANATION

She explains what happened at the tomb of Jesus

-      Three days and nights after the death of Jesus, some women including His mother, Mary the wife of Cleopas and Mary Magdalene went to the tomb with some spices in order to anoint his body

-      On their arrival at the tomb, they discovered the stone had been rolled away and on entering the tomb they saw a young man who told them Jesus was no longer there. He had risen and they were to go and inform the disciples about this news

-      To Mary Magdalene

-      To two disciples traveling to Emmaus

-      To Seven of his disciples at the Sea of Tiberias

-      At the event of His ascension into heaven to 500 brethren at once in Galilee

 

The teacher explains the significance of Jesus resurrection

-      The resurrection amounts to the Father's clear signal that Jesus is the powerful Son of God who has conquered death and reigns as Lord of all (Romans 1:4; 4:25)
