  2. Describe the causes of pollution
  3. Identify and utilize each tool in the toolbar in Microsoft Word

INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNIQUES: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration, videos from source, experimentation

INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Video clips, chemicals, posters, charts, computer room, Microsoft Word application, computer system

INTRODUCTION

The revisits the previous lesson on characteristics and classes of  animals and introduces the new topic by explaining what pollution means

 Pollution means anything that makes the environment dirty and unhealthy

EXPLANATION

The teacher then lists the types of

Pollution

1. Noise pollution

2. Chemical pollution

3. Air pollution

4. Land pollution

5. Water pollution

Pupils pay attention and participates

DEMONSTRATION

She explains and demonstrates the different causes of pollution

1. Improper waste disposal

2. Clubs, markets, parties etc

3. Use of chemicals in weeding fishing

4. Industrial locations

5. misuse of natural resources

6. Open drainage and sewage system

The teacher writes a short note on the board

Toolbar and the three different types of toolbar and each tools in each

The teacher then takes the pupils to the computer room to explore the different tools in the toolbar and its functions

DEMONSTRATION

She explains and demonstrates how to use each of the tools in the drawing toolbar

Drawing Toolbar

The Drawing toolbar contains a collection of icon buttons that allows the user to draw shapes and images in the document.

 

CONCLUSION:

CLASS ACTIVITY: Each of the pupil practices using all the tools as demonstrated by the teacher
