INTRODUCTION

The teacher revises the previous lesson on Christians as the light of the world and introduces the new topic by explaining what suffering means –

 Suffering means to feel pain or misfortunes often leading to serious injuries, decapitations and even death

Pupils pay attention

EXPLANATION

She enumerates people in the bible who suffered

1. Jesus Christ

2. David

3. Joseph

4. Jonah

5. All the apostles etc

 

Pupils pay attention and anticipate

The teacher explains the reasons for suffering

1. an individual brings it on himself

2. someone intentionally causes another to suffer

3. an act of nature

4. through an accident

5. devil and demons caused it
