The teacher revises the previous lesson on the national flag and introduces the new topic by listing all of them

EXPLANATION

She explains what each feature of the coat of arms mean

 

Coat of arms

- Black shield represents Nigeria’s fertile soil

- Two supporting horses represents dignity

- The eagle represents strength

- The green and white twists of the torse on the top of the shield represents the rich soil

- The red flowers at the base are Costus spectabilis, Nigeria’s national flowers which are the beauty of the nation

- At the base is Nigeria’s motto, “Unity and Faith, Peace and Progress”

How drivers and other road users can maintain the roads
