INTRODUCTION

The teacher revisits the previous lesson about traditional fabrics and dresses and introduces the new topic by explaining what fashion accessories are-

 

A fashion accessory is a decorative item that supplements one's outfit. Items such as such as jewellery, gloves, handbags, hats, belts, scarves, watches etc

Using charts and posters, the teacher gives examples of traditional fashion accessories

1. beaded necklaces, handbands and earrings

2. walking sticks

3. crowns

4. shells and cowries

5. horsetails
