NOTE

A town is a place with many streets and buildings, where people live and work. Towns are larger than villages and smaller than cities.

 

ILE-IFE

It is located in Osun state. Oduduwa’s the ancestor of the Yoruba kings’ final home was Ile-Ife. Ile-Ife lost its status as the centre of Yoruba politics to the Oyo empire by the 14th century. It is home to the popular Obafemi Awolowo University. Its population is estimated at 300,000.
