SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to;

  1. Match the letter A with the short A sound
  2. Practice identifying the short A sound in the –ad and at word families

ENTRY BEHAVIOR : Pupils can identify and recite all the letters of the alphabets and the vowels

SET INDUCTION : The teachers uses the alphabet song to arouse the pupils
