The teacher revises the previous lesson on the Promise of the Saviour and introduces the new topic

She explains why Jesus is our Saviour

Jesus is our saviour because

-      He makes us right with God

-      He cleanses all our darkness

-      He paid the price for our freedom

-      He rescued us from the consequences of our sins which is death

-      He gave up his life for us on the cross of calvary

Pupils pay attention and anticipate

The teacher describes the kind of Saviour Jesus is

-      He is a compassionate saviour

-      He is a humble and sacrificial saviour

-      He is a merciful saviour

-      He is forgiving

-      He is kind and patient

-      He is prayerful and a powerful intercessor

-      He was obedient to His Heavenly Father

Pupils pay attention and participate
