INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: football field/pitch, balls, goalpost, nets, shin guard, footwear/soccer boot, jerseys, stockings/hose/sock, corner flag, piece of paper, feathers, charts showing the effects of wind etc

PERIOD 1: Wind

STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher revisits the previous lesson on developed and underdeveloped technology and introduces the new topic by allowing the class to brainstorm and formulate the meaning and causes of wind by watching video clips

STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION | Using live examples, the teacher explains the harmful effects of wind 1. It causes wind erosion 2. it blows away roofs 3. it destroys lives and properties 4. it falls trees 5. it destroys crop plants and farmlands
