INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: football field/pitch, balls, goalpost, nets, shin guard, footwear/soccer boot, jerseys, stockings/hose/sock, corner flag, piece of paper, feathers, charts showing the effects of wind etc

STEP 1 INTRODUCTION | The teacher revisits the previous lesson on developed and underdeveloped technology and introduces the new topic by allowing the class to brainstorm and formulate the meaning and causes of wind by watching video clips

STEP 3 DEMONSTRATION | Using live examples, the teacher explains the useful effects of wind A gentle wind is called BREEZE 1. wind is a source of energy 2. wind is used for sailing boats, ship etc 3. wind is used in flying kites, airplanes etc 4. it is useful in separating chaffs from grain 5. it helps us to move effectively 6. it cools our body and environment 7. it helps in the growth of plants and crops
