The teacher revises the previous lesson on Moses and the bronze serpent

EXPLANATION

She gives further explanation of how Moses interceded for the Israelites when the bronze serpent began biting them and the instructions The Lord gave him

-      Moses prayed for the people

-      Then The Lord told Moses to make a bronze snake and put it on a pole, so that anyone who was bitten could look at it and be healed

The teacher also explains the similarity between the hanging serpent and Jesus on the cross

-      Hanging serpent means salvation for the Israelites and Jesus on the cross means salvation for mankind

-      A reminder that the Israelites sin is hanging with the bronze serpent just as that of the sin of the world  is hanging on the cross with Jesus Christ
