SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to;

  1. Explain the meaning of singular and plural
  2. Make plurals by adding ‘s’
  3. Make plurals by adding ‘es’
  4. Make plurals by changing ‘y’ to ‘ies’ and add ‘s’ to nouns that have vowels before the ‘y’
  5. Make plurals by changing ‘f’ or ‘fe’ to ‘ves’
  6. State the exceptions of the ‘f’ and ‘fe’ to ‘ves’ rule
  7. Make plurals by changing the vowels or middle letters
  8. Make plurals y adding ‘en’ or ‘ren’
