  1. Narrate the Story of Joseph and Moses
  2. Discuss Joseph’s Dreams
  3. Explain the events that led to the release of the Israelites from Egypt
  4. Describe the events of the crossing of the Red sea

Instructional Techniques: Identification, explanation, playway method, questions and answers, demonstration, story-telling

Instructional Materials: toys, picture book showing the Israelites crossing the Red sea, Bible, story book

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

 The Teacher defines a slave as a person who is held in servitude as the property of another person and whose labour is subject to the owner’s volition and control.

EXPLANATION

She explains that the Israelites were slaves to the Egyptians and they wanted to be free

DEMONSTRATION

Using the Bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Moses and the crossing of the Red Sea

        -How Moses was hidden from birth and adopted as a child of pharaoh daughter. Gen 37:1-11

 -How Moses freed the Israelites and cross the red sea. Exo 4, Exo 7

The teacher writes a short note on the board

NOTE

The Israelite was brought into Egypt during the reign of Joseph the second in command of Egypt due to famine but after Joseph died, the Israelite became slaves to the Egyptian and led to their torment for years.

CLASSWORK: As in evaluation.

CONCLUSION: The teacher commends the pupils positively.
