The teacher revises the previous lesson on rewards of community leaders

She explains who a leader is

A leader is the one in the charge, the person who inspires other people to follow.

DEMONSTRATION

The teacher outlines the duties of community leaders

1. they ensure the peace and safety of the community

2. They maintain law and order in the community

3. they settle disputes among families and individuals

4. They are middlemen between the government and the people

5. they fight for the interest of people living in the community

6. they mentor and guide the younger ones

Pupils pay attention and participate

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes a short note on the board

The pupils write the notes in their books

2. enforces repentance and reformation in law offenders

3. Punishes to serve as deterrence

4. Protects citizens from criminals

5. Keeps convicted criminals in lawful custody

The teacher explains ways of preventing drug abuse

1.   Understand how substance abuse develops.  

2.   Avoid Temptation and Peer Pressure.

3.   Seek help for mental illness.

4.   Examine the risk factors and keep it to the barest minimum

5.   Keep a well-balanced life.
