STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The Teacher defines Traditional festivals as indigenous made up of cultural and spiritual activities which the people have created and developed during the course of history.

She explains that through Nigeria history that there has been a common practiced where people gather together like the Yam festival which is practiced by the Igbo, Argungun Festival practiced by the Yoruba and many more

She uses costumes, accessories Television and CD player to show the pupils Some Traditional Festivals practiced in Nigeria and the types of wears used to adorn themselves
