2) List some Basic shapes with suitable colours

3) Explain what colour are

4) Demonstrate How to apply colours on shapes

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The Teacher Defines Colouring is a form of art that involves the application of colours on object which could be artwork, drawings and many more

She also defines basic shapes as the simplest shapes that cannot be broken into any other form of shapes e.g Rectangle, Square, Triangle etc

EXPLANATION

She explains the Different types of Basic shapes and their spelling. She also shows the different types of colours and their spelling.

DEMONSTRATION

She uses drawing book, Water colour or crayon, plastic object of basic shapes to show the pupils how to apply colours with the use of a painting brush and assist them.

NOTE TAKING

The teacher writes the note on the board while the pupils copy.

NOTE

Patterns gives design to an artwork, adding colour to such pattern beautify the artwork. Basic shapes can be used to design an artwork by repetition of such shapes 

EVALUATION: 1) Shapes can be used to form pattern. (True/False)

2) The application of colour to shapes does not beautify an artwork. (True/False)
