  1. Narrate the birth of Jesus.
  2. Explain the message of the Angel to Joseph
  3. Name the gift presented to Jesus by the Three wise men

Instructional Materials: toys, picture book showing Angel Gabriel with Mary, Bible, story book

STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The Teacher defines Birth as the emergence of a baby from the body of its Mother

She further who a virgin is and why it is important to be a virgin

Pupils pay attention

STEP 2

EXPLANATION

The Teacher explains that Jesus is the son of God.

She explains that Mary (the Mother of Jesus) was a virgin and that was one of the reasons why God choose her to be the Mother of Jesus.

DEMONSTRATION

Using the Bible story books and the pictures there in she tells the story of Angel Gabriel and Mary

        -How the Angel met Mary the virgin

        -How the Angel told her that she will conceive a child

        -How she accepted the message and gave birth to Jesus. LK 1:26-38

The teacher writes a short note on the board

NOTE

The birth of Jesus has been prophesied for years. It was prophesied that Jesus will come from the House of David which is the House where his Father Joseph is from. His Mother Mary is a Virgin and that was why God choose her. Angel Gabriel was charge with delivering the message to Jesus parent
