STEP 1

INTRODUCTION

The Teacher Define Pattern as a model or design used as a guide in needlework and other crafts

EXPLANATION

She explains that Pattern is a repeated decorative design. She explains that shapes can be drawn on an art work in a repeated order of form to produce a design on the art work.

DEMONSTRATION

She uses drawing book, drawing sheet, pencil, crayon to show the pupil a picture of a design using any of the basic shapes and assist the pupils to follow such design using the pencil and shading it

The teacher writes the note on the board while the pupils copy.

Pattern helps to beautify artworks and craft. They are repetitive designs arrange in way that are attractive to viewers. The Pattern of a work can tell the origin, history and advancement in technology of a community and people.
