INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS: Pictures/chart showing members of the community, charts showing the security agents in Nigeria, Charts/pictures showing people greeting one another

DEMONSTRATION

The teacher further describes the roles of community leaders

1.they ensure the peace and safety of the community

2. They maintain law and order in the community

3. they settle disputes among families and individuals

4. They are middlemen between the government and the people

5. they fight for the interest of people living in the community

6. they mentor and guide the younger ones
